I need to see a calculated field calculation in a report data definition

I need to see a calculated field calculation in a report data definition. I need a sdk license. How do I get the sdk license and after I get it, how do I use it to see the calculation in a calculated field?

Please help!!!

Thank you,

Richard

This rumor has been going around forever.

The SDK will not give you that.

The old full sdk might have, but it doesn’t matter even if it did, they don’t sell that anymore.

If you want to see that, you’ll need to take apart the dlls with a decompiler, or use some AI to do it for you.

Or bribe an Epicor programmer to show you.

Even if you have the SDK License… It’s kind of useless. You don’t get access to ux-platform you dont get access to kinetic angular client files.

You would at most get the classic Client. They used to ship with the Server side code as well, they removed it around 10.2.400. To call it even an SDK is embarrassing.

All the SDK really lets you do nowadays is just create tables and customize on a higher layer level.

The beef I have with Cloud Only SaaS isn’t the hosting… its that in 2028 they will stop publishing the .iso files and you will be blind. They dont have a .chm or all the Calculated Fields documented anywhere. They want you to hire Consultants

Thank you for your reply!

Where are the report data definition dll files stored?

Thanks,

Richard

Poor guy is talking to himself now.

Put down the Epicor and go touch some grass.

Haven’t we all been there trying to admin Epicor?
