Idea: Move more Customer settings to Customer Groups

There are several things - especially accounting settings - that are always the same for customers here yet we have to manually populate them and hope no one misses one.

It would make a ton of sense to put these settings in the Customer Groups.

Where this works well is price lists. Everyone in the group gets that price list - unless we override it on the specific customer (we don’t, but glad we could).

But can we add the following to customer groups as well:

  1. GL Control
  2. Finance Charge
  3. Terms
  4. FOB
    …
  5. Allow One Time Ship To
  6. Save OTS as

Again, if it’s populated in the customer then that should take precedence.

I imagine there’s an analog in the PO/AP world. But I’m dealing with AR today, so this is on my mind.
