Long story (ahead), but I discovered that all open POs in our PDC site had a typo in the address (Drive instead of Court).
So I went to Site Maintenance, and the address was correct.
OK, so I looked at the warehouses (there are only 2), and the original warehouse is where the wrong data was… I mean it matched in its wrongness anyway.
Tangent for some background: the PDC is moving to a new location, and so I created the second warehouse about a month ago. But I had not changed the site address, since the move was still ongoing. Now we want to consider the new place as THE address.
Back to the story.
At this point, I am thinking, oh great, I don’t want to fudge the old warehouse’s address just to get this to work. So I look on here and everyone says “No it pulls from the site, genius.” (Not really, that’s just how I felt.)
So then I did this in Site Maintenance in dev, and saved it…
…AND IT FIXED IT ON A NEW PO!
Explain THAT.
Because I realized later that even though the address (the street part) had been wrong, the name (TICO PDC) was definitely pulling from the site. See, it worked to my advantage that we are terribly inconsistent in naming. (We is me, by the way.)
Somehow, I guess by saving the site record, it jarred the system back into pulling the right street address.
FYI, in Production, just changing the site to the new street address was sufficient - I don’t actually have “THIS IS THE SITE ADDRESS” on the POs.
And that’s a Friday.
