In MES - How hide the shift pop up screen

In MES while clocking in, everytime the shift pop up screen is appearing. The employees are having the permanent shift and no changes are happening to it They are requesting to hide the shift pop up screen. how to do that? kindly help.

You could do it with a customization on the shift select form. One way would be to perform a button click (with code) on the OK button once the form initializes, that way the employee will get clocked into their default shift.

It is possible the form hasn’t loaded fully when you are trying to make this click action. [image] Doing this on part form, without the message box, works for me with the Epicor event.

MES customization deployment?

I figured you would have tried that already. Yes, thank goodness for test environments. That is just very strange that the upgrade wouldn’t apply your original MES customization to the new .dll Program and it would keep the older Program name. It’s just interesting that you had that old Program name in there from 10.0 but you could still see the original Customization when you opened MES in 10.2? You can’t run those things through the Customization Verification process can you? …

Right click on the shift form to get into customization mode

Select the OK button while in customization mode, then view the properties to get the control’s GUID

Remember to deploy it (because this is a subform of a parent) you need to name the customization the same as your parent customization.

Ex. our MES is named WCI_MES_Default_v3 so my customization to the Shift form is also named WCI_MES_Default_v3
