Have not had to many problems with virus problem. We have a three layer

I have checked Windows Update and have not seen IE8 getting pushed to users
yet. I run IE8 on my web dev machine and I haven't seen an update since
March (just checked)....

As for Vantage, the only thing that IE is used for is Help AFAIK. Epicor 9
is a different story with the Epicor Everywhere (Web access). Since the Help
system can use Flash, make sure that your Flash stays up-to-date. It (and
Adobe Reader) are getting hit hard by the virus writers...

Went to a 9.0 show yesterday and they said Q3 of 2010 they are to have 9.0 fully integrated with Internet Explorer 8 and Windows 7 support.

I take it back. They're starting to show up...

IE8 does have a Compatibility View (Under Tools) that will render sites with
the IE 7 engine if there's an issue.

Not with Vantage version 6.1 but that probably was not the answer your
were looking for.
