I thought we were the only ones suffering with duplicate customers being set-up, is there a way to consolidate customer history so you can have just one account per customer? Thanks for raising!
We’re finding there’s no great options… I believe there is a popular Epicor Idea about merging customers but who knows if that will happen.
Some of our “duplicates” can be reasonably morphed into sets of National Accounts, and that at least gives a linkage for reporting against. But most we’re just going to inactivate the duplicate with a comment “merged into CID 12345”, etc. Although maybe I will make a UD field Customer.MergedToCustID_c or something so we can have a firm linkage…
