Hi Greg,

We use LotFifo costing, so I wrote one to adjust the PartFifo layers and to make them inactive. I wrote the PartBin UBAQ today and it does adjust to zero, but I am having some issues with the deleting of the empty bin.

The delete works in the BAQ designer, but not always in the dashboard.

I only let accounting do the adjustments as they are not traceable.

HTH,

Greg

Does the updatable capability do a writeback to the BOH to allow it to be set to "zero"?

Would it be too much to ask you to share the BAQ?

Thanks,

Bob Carlson

In E9 we are using UOM’s that yield eight decimals of BOH.  On occasion we end up with inventory balances, positive and negative, which are expressed in eight decimals where the leading 5 decimal places are “0”.    When inventory requires adjustment the Inventory Adjustment utility allows input only to the 5th decimal place and does not allow an entry such as “00000nnn”.

Does anyone else have this problem and have you found a way around it other than using the clumsy Cycle Count process?

I made an updateable baq to deal with that this week.

Greg
