Inventory Transfer from one part to another

This process should really be done through a job to maintain traceability, labor, and material costs while transacting inventory the correct way. As I understand it, you take a raw material (unique part number - lot tracked), pulverize it through a process, and it comes out of the job to inventory as a different part number but with the same lot number

If you issue the un-pulverized material to a job, record labor and material and the lot(s) that go into it, then do a job receipt to inventory you would have the transaction you are looking for

The other way to do it would be inventory quantity adjustments screen , although you lose some traceability other then the fact that you are quantity adjusting out the un-pulverized material with one lot number, and then quantity adjusting in to the same warehouse/bin the pulverized material using the same lot number
