Is anyone using 3 Way Match in Docstar? Can you explain the benefits of using it?

I thought that our implementation included 3 way match. I also am having a memory lapse as to the benefits of 3 way match.

Can anyone give any insight on it?

In a nutshell, 3 way matching prevents you from paying too much or paying for the wrong quantity. say a shipment was broken into two boxes and you only receive one, yet are billed for two. If no one in receiving or inventory realized the other box never showed up, then you would have paid for stuff you never received.

Many more examples could be imagined, but 3-way is a good thing, even if you don’t do it as formally as a DocStar workflow.
