Is it possible to trigger a refresh when you hit the enter key in a search on a dashboard?

Hello,

I was wondering if there was a way when you enter something in a dashboard tracker, you could hit the enter key to trigger a refresh for the results?
It would be a lot easier if this were possible.

You should be able to set up a hotkey in the dashboard to accomplish this. I’m working in Epicor 9, but I’m assuming you should be able to, in the dashboard, select Tools > Options > Global Hot Keys and then go from there with the command of “Refresh”.

That kinda works except you don’t have the option to map refresh to the enter key.

Is there any way at all to map it to the enter key?

From what I can see, it doesn’t look like there is a way to have that particular key be used as a hotkey. There might be some kind of C# code you can utilize on an Assembly version of the dashboard, but I’m not aware of any Epicor C# methods that are activated by particular keyboard key strokes.
