Is security in the browser (Kinetic) okay?

My phrase: “Security by Ignorance” comes into play here… yes, the UI allows us to secure things, but if you know how to pick the lock, then it is no longer secure. It will keep the honest people out, but someone who really wants to edit data can get around the UI.
I prefer a pick proof lock.

The best you’ll find is a pick resistant lock

There is a lot of good information here! As we’re looking to maybe migrate to the cloud, security will definitely be at a forefront of our discussions. It’s a lot of work to move from current practices to new security infrastructure that will better protect our data (both LAN and WAN). I do feel more people nowadays are used to using F12 than are .NET tools.

Although, most of the time F12 is hit, I’ll get a call asking me what happened to their browser and how can I fix it
