Hi all, I’ve seen some topics about post-2025.2 issues, and while some of the issues were similar, none quite lined up exactly. All of these issues are related to using Kinetic in browser.
- Get Details in Engineering Workbench is broken - hangs after keying in a target part; impacts all users. This particular issue doesn’t impact Kinetic in the Smart Client (Case opened for this)
- Part search when triggered from various locations is broken (e.g clicking the search button from Part Entry, or clicking the search button from within Engineering Workbench → Get Detail). The slide out appears, but is missing search fields.
- Where Used (when triggered from PartNum context menu) UI never appears in the slide out for some users.
- Right-clicking the revision in the Engineering Workbench results in the default browser context menu and not the Kinetic context menu. So far this is only impact ONE user, but is not specific to the browser or system tested on (i.e. I could log in as this user on my own machine and right-clicking was also broken). No personalizations exist on Engineering Workbench for this user.
In all cases, clearing browser caches (both through dev tools and typical browser clear history) was aggressively tried. This has resolved other issues post-upgrade for some users (such as the Part Checkout not loading at all from Engineering Workbench).
Anyone else seeing similar reports? Is there a conversion process I can try running to potentially resolve any of these issues? I remember seeing talking about something they would run after an upgrade that helped correct Kinetic layer issues.
