outdoor products, has an opening for an experienced IT Manager.  Our company was founded more than 60 years
ago as a small manufacturing business and has grown dramatically by applying innovative
engineering and technology solutions to meet customer requirements worldwide.  We are now part of Okabe Co., Ltd., a
diversified Tokyo based holding company. 
This has allowed us to implement an aggressive growth strategy to become
a world leader in our respective markets through increased sales, new product
development and acquisitions.  It has
also allowed us to act upon our appetite for using leading-edge technology
solutions to maintain and grow our advantage in market competitiveness.

 

This
hands-on position is responsible for both the strategic leadership and
management of the company’s IT function globally (Currently U.S., China, and
Italy) and the day to day operations of our core business system. A successful
candidate should possess the following:

 






Ø  Four year degree in computer related
field and minimum ten years experience in IT and five years in a leadership
position.  Manufacturing experience
preferred.


Ø  Extensive experience in ERP system
administrative maintenance.  Epicor experience strongly preferred.


Ø  Working knowledge of EDI system
maintenance.


Ø  Proven ability to identify critical
company IT needs and create effective solutions using the most innovative IT
resources available.


Ø  Previous management experience,
including, but not limited to employee mentoring and development, strategic
resource planning and budgeting, and effective delegating to maximize
resource efficiency.


Ø  Proven ability to balance priorities
based upon ever changing critical needs, while keeping an eye on the overall
picture.


Ø  Ability to effectively communicate
at all levels of the organization.


Ø  Ability to work well as part of a
team and also be self starter when tasked with individual tasks and
responsibilities.


Ø  Strong project management skills.
