Position Title: IT Manager

Reports To: Director of Information Systems

Position Summary:

This individual will work with the DIS in the development of strategic planning of company-wide information systems including hardware, software, telecommunications, network infrastructure and user support. Will provide tactical leadership and have direct involvement in the execution of the programs in support of the strategic plan. Will insure system resources are adequate and available to all users and make recommendations for improvements.

Reporting Summary:

Works under the direction of the DIS, and will supervise all other system administrators and help desk analysts. This position requires excellent (internal) customer service skills all personnel, including the IT staff as a whole. Promote a positive work environment by maintaining respectful interactions with all staff and customers. This position requires the ability to function successfully in both team and independent work environments

Duties and responsibilities:

• Establish and monitor individual and departmental goals for his/her direct reports.
• Evaluate IT personnel and services that are currently available and hire or contract for the skills and services needed to support IT’s infrastructure mission.
• Assist project managers in understanding customer requirements/projects and provide support towards configuration of products to suit their needs.
• Oversee the implementation or upgrade of the IT infrastructure and services to provide for efficient and reliable communications and data sharing between all sites.
• Provide hands on assistance as needed to the IT staff to deal with various technical and policy issues that arise.
• Serve as the interface between the IT staff and end user community to provide a mechanism to schedule projects and resources so that the IT staff is utilized as efficiently and productively as possible.
• Qualify independent software vendors (ISVs), system integrators (SIs) and application service providers (ASPs).
• Facilitate the review and selection of applications based on system requirements.
• Negotiate with suppliers on software licenses, maintenance agreements, services contracts and service level agreements.
• Develop, document, and manage the performance and periodic testing of application restore and disaster recovery plan.
• Conducts effective performance evaluations and mentors those with less experience through formal channels.
• Helps team execute career development plans.

Skills Scope:

• Excellent written/verbal communications skills.
• Minimum of 6 years experience with Windows 2008 Server platforms with an emphasis on Active Directory in a multi domain environment.
• Strong background in Exchange messaging system.
• Strong background with design and implementation of SharePoint technology.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations to include experience with routers & switches, Internet firewalls, and wireless technology.
• Intermediate Windows scripting skills.
• Strong background in the implementation of SAN’s and NAS storage scenarios.
• Strong experience in the design, implementation and troubleshooting of VMware environments.
• Experience setting up and managing database systems such as SQL Server, Pervasive and MySql.
• Intermediate knowledge of setting up, configuring and implementing VOIP telephone systems.
• Advanced hardware & software troubleshooting skills.
• Maintains quality customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and is a team player with the ability to work well independently.
• Must possess above average organization skills, excellent communication skills, and can demonstrate problem solving skills.

Education, Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required:

• 10 or more years of systems/network experience is required.
• BA/BS degree in related field or equivalent experience; MBA or graduate-level IT related education a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in IT management with the Distribution sector, preferably in the electronics industry.
• Previous experience with Tier 1 ERP and CRM software applications, Epicor and Sales Force experience a plus.

Position Title: Epicor Business Systems Analyst

Reports To: Director of Information Systems

Position Summary
The Epicor Business Systems Analyst will configure, implement, maintain and upgrade Enterprise Resource Planning application modules. He/she analyzes user requirements to determine ERP system configuration and customization and provides ongoing ERP system support. The Business Systems Analyst may be involved in the requirements definition and software vendor selection phase.

Duties and responsibilities
• Manages ERP system (Epicor) for new module implementation, sustaining activities, reporting creation, user set up, and other system function
• Acts as the liaison with Epicor and consultants for special projects
• Trains others to become power users for report creation and data mining ability
• Develops, implements and manages data analysis systems and strategies that optimize data quality
• Manages business, process and IT team activities to support conversion of data from multiple sources into a single ERP system
• Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets and develop graphs, reports, and presentations of results
• Manages data quality audits, generate reports and dashboards

• Education, Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or an equivalent in a Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Five (5) years experience in providing data analysis, identifying data related business needs and providing practical and workable solutions.
• Experience in data mining techniques and procedures and knowing when their use is appropriate.
• Experience in use of data extraction from Epicor modules in the areas of sourcing, planning, finance, orders or PDM.
• Be fully independent in data analytics by extracting/querying databases, building SQL pivots and developing/manipulating data cubes, as necessary.
• Experience presenting technology recommendations from a business perspective.
• Managing complex workload that includes multiple tasks and conflicting priorities with minimal supervision resolving issues proactively.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and collaboration skills with all levels of management and the ability to motivate teams to apply skills and techniques to solve dynamic and complex problems.
• Skilled in conceptualizing, documenting and presenting creative application solutions.
