Job Scheduling Board - Customizing with a New Field

I am thinking about customizing the Job Scheduling Board to include a new column in the Schedule tab, on the left panel. I want to calculate a value for each job and list it here, along with the native fields like job, part, customer, etc.

In customization I can see that the left panel is made of a Plexity Grid. I have not used these in the past. How can I customize the fields in this left grid? Is it even possible?
