Can anyone advise what could cause the scheduling to plan a suggestion on top of 2 firmed and locked jobs with the same resource for the same operation?
Finite scheduling, concurrent capacity = 1, calendar 16 hrs per day for the first questions, operation std needs 23 hrs per operation and it is already schedule so that 2 operations happen at the same time (planner rookie mistake).
SUG000000942 with jobs WO028704 and WO28705. This should be not happening.
I can see where the demand comes from. It is 6 months ahead of the need date for the work order. But why does scheduling allow a suggestion on top of 2 locked work work orders for the same resource? Usually it has never been the case and after upgrade to KInetic this started to show. I have a feeling some scheduling setting or something else has changed.
This topic has lived on, but the situation is as follows. I have also set the production consumption rate in MOM and resources to limit this specific product by quantity per day. But for some reason, suggestions are added on top of firmed and locked jobs. The limit is 6 per day and MRP schedules suggestions very well, but for the all firmed jobs also a suggestion is generated on top. Why is that?
Also, all jobs are late is the actual situation. But why does a suggestion come on top when the resource is fully scheduled and there is no time or quantity capacity available?
