Job to Job Receipt to Plant

The process for Job to Job Receipt from a job in Plant A to a job in Plant B is mostly automated and immediate, I would like to know how to intervene in the process to stop the shipping and receiving of the transfer pack that is created. I have tried tracing the process but do not see the method for the pack being created, shipped or received.

The need results from many jobs in Plant A are completed to fulfill material requirements of the jobs in Plant B. Rather than these being processed immediately, I would like to have the pack created and add these packs added to a Master Pack that can be shipped to Plant B when the truck physically leaves Plant B.

Any ideas on where to start with this.

You could try setting the part to be a stocked item (technically, not be set to non-stocked). Using this would mean that you produce the job to stock, create the transfer order manually and transfer.
You could have a BPM that will generate the transfer order for the stock ready for shipment if required.

Thanks for the idea Andrew, some of these parts are Parts on the Fly and cannot be made to stock.
