We often times use inventory and have labor to make things around the shop like jigs and tooling, carts, shelves etc. They are shop use items. We still want to be able to use jobs to track materials, labor, BOM’s etc for some of these things. Currently, we have to make an order to ourselves which seems a little convoluted. In reality, people just take stuff and so our inventory is off. I would like to see a demand link to other just like there is for Purchase Orders. I know that you can do project jobs, but this is for stuff that is not worth setting up a whole project for one job just for some shop supplies. Also making inventory jobs requires the part numbers to be master part numbers, and I don’t want that for a one-off shelf. Plus there is another step of zeroing out the inventory after the job is done. I want to be able to receive the job to other.
