Job Traveler Blank Title 110378

Mary, this could be many things. Are you having to modify the report data definition to bring in new tables needed for the report? Is he trying to modify the Crystal Report from Vantage 6 or starting with a new Crystal REport?

Â
We are trying to go live on Vantage 9 and we are moving up from 6.05. The job traveler is a big problem for us. Our previous IT person had made changes to the default form in 6.05. Our current IT person is trying to make those same changes in 9 and it is not working so great. Can anyone help with this if I connect you to our IT person? Or does anyone have any helpful hints? Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

I am trying to link the customer master table into MS Access 2010 for an external quoting program. The customer contact table links fine but when I try the customer master it tells me there are too many indexes and I should delete some and try again. Anyone know if there is a way around this? We are on 8.03.305k.
Not that I know of, download SQL Squirel

I assume you are a Progress database.

There are some tables that don't link into Access.
Customer and I think JobHead is another common one.

I create views for Access using DBVisualizer.
There is a tech tip on EpicWeb that will explain how to setup the connection.

Yes I have a Progress database. Not having much luck searching for that tech tip. Any idea where to find it?

Also you can see "Customer_VIEW.DOC" in the files section.
Depending on your version it might work.

But... compounding the problem of creating views is the fact that the SQL Explorer was discontinued a while back.
Progress 10.1B if I remember.
Hence the need for a tool like DBVisulaiizer.
