Joining from Jobs to Orders and Projects

Is this the correct way to get from Jobs to Projects and Sales Orders?

I am trying to get engineering labor hours (estimated and actuals) from the jobs and tie it back to the project. The ProjectID is on the JobHead record, which works for Project Jobs, but for manufacturing jobs, I need to go JobHead > JobProd > OrderDtl > Project. Does this sound right?

Even for non project jobs, you should be able to relate it to a project. But if all your jobs are make to order, then that could work. Just be aware that not all jobs are required to be related to an order. You can make to stock.
