Assigned the home page shortcut to a classic menu item, the menu item is also set to open in classic with the checkbox.
I can open the classic form menu item from the browser, in the menu section, and it will load the client and open it.
If I do the same thing from the home page shortcut, it will not.
Am I missing something, or is it missing a little Je ne sais quoi?
I have a similar issue with some folks using the default cloud kinetic layout. I told them I would teach them how to build their own layouts, and I showed them how to access their favorites. That quelled the mob for now.
Edit: on second read, I may have misunderstood you. From the browser you can’t open classic forms without the edge agent. Is that what you mean?
no, I can from the menu, but not the home page. Even if I clear out the tile and select a known classic item.
Ok, I decided to nuke it from orbit.
Anyway, I deleted the tile, and added back a new one, pointed it to the same known classic menu, and it worked.
