Just upgraded to Epicor 9 and cannot edit Crystal reports

Don't worry about it. It's best practice to save your customized reports as another file name anyway. That way if there is a problem, you can go back to the standard report as backup and for testing. Leave the standard as "Standard" in the report style but add another style for your custom report and make the custom the default. This makes it quick and easy to go back to the standard report directly from the UI if needed.

I try to open a Crystal Report to edit it and I get: this report could not be opened for writing. any changes must be saved to a new file.

I have give full permissions and taken off any read only settings.
If the file is marked as read only you will also get this message.

You need to save it under another name anyway.

reports

I try to open a Crystal Report to edit it and I get: this report could
not be opened for writing. any changes must be saved to a new file.

I have give full permissions and taken off any read only settings.
