KanBan Replenishment / Material Queue Requests In 8.03.305K

We have set the min/max levels, but I will check out the trigger as
you suggest. We did indeed start out with stock below the minimum...

Many thanks,

Nick

We are starting to play around with KanBan replenishment between bulk
storage bins and cell bins.

We have setup a stock KanBan within the MPF and we see indications
within the KanBan bin monitor that cell bins require re-filling. We
have also set the "Add new material record to queue" option within the
KanBan setup form which we would assume generates an instruction to
move materials between bins to satisfy the replenishment request.

This bit appears not to work and we dont see any request appearing in
the material queue. We therefore have no instruction to move parts
between bins and Vantage appears not to tell us where the parts must be
moved from ?

Has anyone seen this problem or are we doing something wrong ??

Many thanks,

Nick
In the demand warehouse/bin you need to set a Maximum for this to work.
Also, make sure you increase the stock above the Min level, then let it
drop below the Minimum. The trigger seems to be the event when stock
drops below the minimum, not simply the state of being below minimum

cheers

Nick
