Kinetic 2024.1 (PILOT) Upgrade

I logged into PILOT in the wee hours this morning, loading was much quicker. Logging in now and I’m seeing the performance issue - so looks like it’s not doing well under load.

I don’t think I’ve had to do this with previous upgrades, but I had to request a data model regeneration. Data was not showing up in the modified Kinetic forms. UD Column Maint showed the schema needed refreshed. They finished the regen and data is showing up in the Kinetic Forms now. So, if you have issues you might want to look there. Not sure if the Regen needs to be requested after the upgrade, I assumed if that was needed that would be part of Epicor’s upgrade steps. I’m hoping when they upgrade PROD that we don’t have to wait for the All-Clear, then turn around and put in another ticket before our system is fully up.

I don’t know if it just need to rebuild cache, etc. But I was just able to log in relatively quick in both Client and Browser. Perhaps, even after the all-clear, it was still building in the background?

I was also getting random errors with navigating through forms. AR Invoice Tracker for example was erroring and just throwing a correlation ID error. Now it is going through and opening the form fine.

I wonder if that is our problem, no UD fields showing up. I put in a ticket this morning and haven’t heard anything so far.

Around four hours ago, I could not login to pilot in client. Just tried now and took some time updating but I can log-in and seems that the various transactions are working.

I realized I had not mentioned that we are using Client. I’ve tried logging in at off peak times hoping that might help, but there has been no change. We started a case yesterday morning, but have not yet had any update from Epicor other than acknowledging there is a case.
