Hi all
I’m interested in anybody else’s experience with the APAC region 2024.1 Pilot upgrade over the weekend.
We are experiencing multiple issues (as we did when they upgraded to 2023.2 last year.)
The report relationships on modified RDD’s can’t be accessed
Can’t access log files to move them to the local pc
Crystal reports runtime errors
Product configurator input errors
Intercompany processing not working (but can’t see the logfiles so can’t determine why)
I haven’t even started testing proper yet, so not sure what else will pop up.
Prior to these two Pilot upgrades, the process worked pretty much out of the box. With these last two, it feels like APAC are being used as crash-test dummies for Epicor before they upgrade the rest of the world.
I’m interested to hear how other APAC Kinetic customers are faring.
Accessing a custom RDD relationship presents an error "We apologize, but an unexpected internal problem occurred. Please provide your System Admin or Technical Support this Correlation ID "
Ran a rebuild on part qty, which produced a log file was able to access it with no issues
We don’t use crystal or configurator.
Our AR Invoice failed due to Invalid column name ‘Calc_LabDur’. & ‘Calc_Labor’ but should be a simple fix.
Our Pilot Cloud system was just updated to 2024.1.5.
Unable to created Batch Jobs in Resource Scheduling Board. Error is PN %%-0-20 does not exist. (duh, the 0-20 part is mythically created by the batch)
I dislike the new Trees on some of pages. After clicking a few levels down you can’t go back 1 level and instead have to return to the begining to start over. Like in the Job Closing app. If you click on Operations you’re stuck looking at operations. You have to go back to details if want to review Materials because it gets hidden.
The table view of the landing pages are gone for several of the apps. Part Entry is one of them. Forget filtering the table and using it to scan through time phase records. It just opens up to a blank record page.
Go to Report Style and download the form that is erroring. Open it in Report Builder In the data set right-click on the ARForm go to Datset Properties then the Query.
Find the invalid fields and remove them from the query expression they may be listed more than once. Then go to the fields list, remove them, and re-upload the report. Note I usually either clone the report before starting or take a back up of the download before editing just in case I break it
