We are currently using the classic hand held menus on android Intermec CK65s. We primarily transfer inventory/PCIDs, issue/return material and use trackers. We do plan to expand capabilities, but that covers most of our needs.
Moving to web only for Kinetic and staying as vanilla as possible, what options are there for hand helds with classic getting the axe?
EKW
Kinetic web screens (including customizations)
Are those pretty much the only two options?

Is anyone using or has used the kinetic web screens? How was the experience?
It almost seems like EKW is the route to go unless you want to spend a ton of time developing layers.
We just set up an old iphone to only use the kinetic website via guided access and the team is loving it so far. They are only using the quantity adjustment screen at the moment. The layout doesn’t seem perfect, but it is good enough.
Personally, I would say just get an old phone or tablet and play around with the mobile menus and see how you like it.
Yes we use it on ipads. I don’t think its great but . . . handhelds are a big investment so good enough for now. Also keep in mind you cannot customize the EKW screens.
You can add UD columns to EKW screens yourself, but other than that Biscit has to do it and unsure at what cost 
One of the Epicor partners has a handheld solution, that works on ios and android
Docket (formerly Bezlio) has a native iOS/Android solution. We use their legacy Bezlio platform.
This company, Bemenderfer makes an android app. Everyone I’ve talked to likes it more than EKW but it is also much more expensive.
