There are several threads about BPM forms that cannot (yet) be customized in Kinetic. I wondered if there is any news if and when that would become available in Kinetic.
We use classic customized BPM forms that have the focus set to the first field for a scan function. In standard Kinetic the focus is set to the last object (OK button) which requires a mouse click before the scan can take place.
Moving to a slider page on an application form is not an option. This is a mission critical solution that always must trigger and cannot be dependant on users accessing a menu-item with the proper form custo installed. That is only achieved by means of this BPM.
Alternatively some kind of automated shift-tab after the BPM form displays could be a solution, but did not yet find a solution for it.
Maybe you just create a custom app the could be called rather than a BPM form. You can get started by using the Create New App feature in Application studio.
I’ve never done a BPM Form but looks like it’s there in 2025.2.3+ and looks like they are going to use the Dynamic Slider component (introduced in 2025.2.5 - afaik) to display the form:
Ahhh. I see. bummer. hopefully they’ll do like custom Inspection Results forms and allow a custom slider be defined on InfoPromptForm or something like that.
