Just a query for the general audience. What are you using for credit cards processing in the Kinetic Web Browser? We are currently using EBiz for the credit card processing but they do not have the Kinetic UI Web Browser version completed yet.
Waiting for them to complete their Kinetic version before we migrate. They are not far from a release, from my understanding.
We are On-Prem and wondering if anyone is looking or using something else other than EBiz for Kinetic Browser, due to the time it has been taking for EBiz to provide a working Kinetic UI Form.
You could also try asking your Epicor account manager, although I think they would just steer you towards their own credit card offering. They aren’t always very good at letting you know if third party offerings are available
We already have. Just trying to get a feel for what others may be doing
In defense of the EBiz guys, the delay was caused by Application Studio being such a hot mess the past few years… All their classic stuff was happening client side and so now it has to run on the server after getting triggered by App Studio clicks/events.
No offense to our friends at eBiz, but doing stuff client-side like that is a hot-mess in itself.
Yes, but the blame should partially fall on Epicor I think. It was made before functions, and if you wanted to use Custom Code on MT, what they did was the only way I think.
Yes, this is fair. Before functions, you’d have to mess with UBAQs. But functions have been here for five years now, long before Application Studio appeared on the scene. There’s plenty of blame to go around.
Which could only have limited widgets, if you were MT.
@CDingas You could ask these guys if they are on Kinetic UI:

They actually do have it ready.
Ah, you are one of the companies they have testing then?
Well does it work lol?
I have asked EBiz directly and have been told that they will not be ready until the end of October/ beginning of November.
