Hey Kinetic Wizards!
This is probably something simple…but are we not allowed to hide the buttons in MES? I set them to hidden but they still appear in preview…
And if I try to delete one…I can no longer edit anything else and have to close and reopen app studio. 
It shouldn’t be this tedious to do lol.
Sounds like a bug/glitch. You can definitely hide them… I’ve hid a lot of them on our MES.
The fact that it is freezing up and you have to restart? Something sounds amiss.
Nah, this is par for the course when you delete something without removing the spiderweb of references to go with it.
Good to know I’m not alone. Deleting the custom layer, closing and reopening the client, and starting again fixed the hiding button issue. 
I would suspect a row rule is changing (overriding) your visibility.
