In Kinetic, if I check the ‘Advanced Filers’, it shows a pop-up but I can only add up to 2 conditions. That seems ridiculously low. Is there any way to change that or do anyone knows if it’s something that will be changed?
Every single time I come up with a conversion of an existing dashboard from Classic to Kinetic, users tell me about this and we stop doing it. It just seems like such an oversight to be limited like that
I’m also not sold on the fact that (currently) enabling the Advanced Filters is a customization. I mean, I get it, but there could be instances where we have to make a customization layer on forms just to enable Adv. Filters.
Just feel like if filtering is allowed, Epicor should just provide the “advanced” from the start. No need for two different levels.
I’ve actually NOT included Advanced Filters on any forms because if I did, I would start getting requests coming from all sides to enable it on all kinds of grids. As of now, my users don’t know this exists, so they don’t miss it.
I’m hoping that may already be a addressed as part of their future “roadmap”. I guess we’ll see.

Yeah I find it weird that I have to enable it via a customization and that’s it’s not by default when deploying a base app via ‘Dashboard’ for example. Just having the advanced filter is easier on the eyes vs. having a white textbox above every single column so I would have thought that it would be the default filter view

That’s a good way to keep users from requesting all sort of things hahah. I understand completely !
Agreed, why does there need to be two levels at all? If needed then all the default grids should have it enabled avoiding having to force us to make a layer just to enable it.
