Hi,

Any one knows if it is possible to restrict access for some users to edit or add widget to the home page. With some widgets anyone can get access to some confidential data. for example you can do this with baq grid widget, i know that I can add sec group to the baq, but it allows only one group per baq, not best option. Best way would be to restrict access to widgets per users or per user group. How you deal with this?

Hi Justas,

You can assign multiple groups to a BAQ - you can create a new Security ID for your BAQ (I would create one per BAQ - but maybe it is more practical to group BAQs) in Menu Security Maintenance ( :roll_eyes:) and set appropriate privileges.
Then in BAQ Maintenance assign that security ID to the BAQ.
Oh and always set security by groups - not individual users!!!
