In kinetic version 2025.2.5 noticed that some new features appeared like this:
New menu:
User account area:
In help page this is described as IP restriction where you can manage which company users from what IP can login in to the system it is described in details how you can set up this. You need to create white list group and assign it to users, this works, but it says to enable this you need to mark restrict ip as true under user account and there you get an error that you do not have rights. Thought that epicor gave this ability to users that they would be able to manage IP lists at least help page says that, but when i asked support why it does not work. Got short answer : “AFAIK this functionality is intended for cloud admins only.” Now that’s confuse me when comparing this with help page documentation. Anyone has any other news about this feature?
