Kinetic Web UX Enhancement Extension - Bringing Back the Context Calculator, Copy / Paste and More

Speaking of incomplete PWAs

I got inspired by this idea KTNC-I-2775: Add Calculator Funtionality and decided to see if I could attempt at bringing it back by via some method. I keep running into little annoyances with Kinetic and I’m at the point where I want to start experimenting more seriously with outside / external solutions to enhance the experience.

Anyway here’s my first attempt

This little extension will automatically add the calculator to any numeric field within Kinetic. I haven’t done extensive testing on it and I can’t promise it will work flawlessly, but if you find issues with it let me know and I’ll improve it.

And yes I know it is not the same as what @bconner can do and I’m sure eventually they’ll get all these features there :crossed_fingers: but I wanted to get my feet wet
Calc

Saw this yesterday and decided to add it in

Found a little bug this morning that I’ve already fixed but it takes a while for the update to get published for “security” reasons.

However the version that’s out there now works 90% of the time for the Copy Paste bit.

I also renamed it to Kinetic UX Enhancement instead of Calculator since now it does more. What else should I add? anything else missing that could be added to this?

Is this like a blanket statement because I could always use a hand.

Just keep in mind, that @josecgomez keeps his products free so he can abandon them later with less guilt.

Since you asked and obviously have so much extra time on your hands, @aosemwengie1 has been having this issue with a “+” sign…
