Does anyone have experience with purchasing Epicor ERP/Kinetic solely for the purpose of developing customizations or external integrations? Does Epicor offer a different licensing model for this, as opposed to a customer who is using it to actually operate their business?

I believe you have to become an official epicor partner for that access. As a partner you do get access to a version of Epicor to use in demos, customizations, implementation etc.
