I am trying to review data based on a cross reference between 2 databases.
As such I ideally need to link the 2 databases into a portal, ReportStudio, or InfoMaker so that the end user can look up item or customer references without having to merge the 2 databases. Otherwise, a DBA would need to be involved.
For more clarity we have a staging database along with Dev, Test, Model, and Prod. I want to link staging db with the other 4. We then could look for old products that may not be in (nor need to be) in the current instances.
