Linking two sites

Ian,

We have 2 remote offices whose db's are living on the corp office server (my
location). Our remote offices access Vantage via Citrix, which runs on top
of terminal server. Our WAN (Frame Relay) runs at 256 Kb between the two
links to the head end (corp office). Let me know if you have any more
specific questions.

Dear Mark,
Yes. We are looking to host both sites from the current server and it would
be an extension of the current company that is running

Do you want to host both 'sites' databases on the same server?

Dear All,

We are currently looking at linking another site to our server. Could anyone
point us in the right direction.

Ian

Our setup is two sites connected via a 20M microwave. (about 1 mile as the
crow flies)
We have Vantage installed at both sites (really improves performance). The
database is
installed only at the host site. At the remote site we access the local
vantage/progress
libraries, and point all transactions to the host site (where the database
lives).

I would suggest looking into Citrix and/or Terminal services to have the
remote site access your host sites network and thus Vantage. I know many
companies using these solutions and they perform very well.
