Are you able to cost some parts standard and some parts with Lat Avg Cost? Or is this setup at the site/company level? Is the Lot Cost feature a module that needs to be installed or is it part of the base product?
You can set a default for the company and override the part.
Do you know why I would be getting this error when I change the part to Lot Avg? “Lot AVG or Lot FIFO Costing method requires Lot Tracking”.
Because you can’t lot cost something if it’s not lot tracked. If you want to use lot costing you need to mark the parts as lot tracked.
