Can anyone tell me why a created maintenance job does not default to engineered and show up visible automatically in the resource scheduling dashboards? Once I click the engineered checkbox it does show. These are template maintenance jobs for reoccurring general maintenance.
Because Epicor goes with the path of least resistance. I am sure there is some company out there that likes it not being engineered. It is easier for a company to create a BPM that automatically marks them engineered than it is to try and have it not be. You will come across a bunch of these instances in Epicor that might leave you scratching your head. Just remember that the system is built as generic as possible so you can tailor it to your company.
