Mandatory GL Control Codes in Customer Maintenance

Has anyone had success in making GL Control Codes Mandatory in Customer Maintenance?

The idea would be to have users enter the GL Codes before being able to save/update a customer.

The problem is that I can’t target the GL Control fields until after the “New GL Control” has been added.

Since Epicor puts all new customers on credit hold, can you require the GL Control be added before credit hold is removed?

If not credit hold, find another field.

How many different GLC’s do you have for GLC Type of Customer?

I feel this (GLC at the Customer level) is an example of a GLC that is to be used for exceptional instances.

And is there any other GLC type that might be a better fit? For example, you can set a GLC on a Part, but you’d probably be better of to use Part Classes, and assign the GLC to the class.
