Manual Journal Entries

In looking at my GLJrnDtl table, I don't see any difference from manual JEs except that the description contains the word "Manual". :-)

I need to be able to list out all manual journal entries within a certain time frame.

Don't know off the top of my head. You can print the journal listing report
and select just general journal.
