Mark shipment as invoiced (8.03)

I ended up creating invoices (got around the Tax Connect problem by choosing "Use Alt Bill To"), and setting the price for each line item to $0.00.

That also fixed a problem with some dollars that were hung up in the A/R closing account.

How do you mark a shipment that was invoiced - but with a misc invoice, not connected to the shipment - as invoiced?

Here's what happened:

A Packer was created (Customer Shipment), and a few line items of an order were shipped.
During normal invoicing (SHP type) it was found that the ship to address was invalid. We use Tax Connect, so an invoice won't process if the address can't be validated. So a Misc Invoice was created.
The Misc invoice couldn't be tied to the order, else it would just fetch the invalid address again. So Misc Invoice, un-referenced to the order or packer was created.

The line items on the order show that they're not open (because it was shipped via the packer), but the packer keeps appearing on the 'Shipped Not Invoiced' report.

How do I get the packer to think they've been invoiced?

You need to contact Epicor support they will send you a fix program to run. I have had this issue. Just tell them you need you have a pack slip that was shipped and invoiced but PS not showing as invoiced.

Make sure you test it in your training environment before you do it in production. :)

I do not reccomend to ask for the fix, because the fix will only mark the packing as invoiced and then your clearing account will be off.

I think the best option is to correct the issue with tax connect, and do the shipment invoice and then adjust it to zero.
