We are attempting to find out how much our rework is costing us. When the entire job is a rework job, that is easy. But trying to figure out what the material cost is for a singular operation seems a little more difficult. I know the jobmtl table has “related to operation” but the parttran table does not seem to have a mtl seq, so the best I can do is find out the material cost per asm. Has anyone had any luck here?
For us that shows up in JobMtl with the AddedMtl checkbox true. We do not issue more of the original material, we add a new usually fixed quantity line for the rework material and then issue that.
