Material Costs on Quote Worksheet

Looking at the Worksheet of a quote, it states that the Material Costs are $87,330.88

When I go through each line of that quote and manually tally up the material costs, it comes out over $11k higher.

Is there a scenario where there are items in the BOM that would not be included in the total material cost of the quote which would cause for a discrepancy? Like some setting on the part master such as qty bearing, or something that indicates it is not a costed part even if there is a cost associated? Maybe some other flag/field I am failing to take into consideration?

Are you Standard Cost?

No, we use Last here.

If you have a bunch of subassemblies, one thing you could look at is the calculated estimated cost. If you have a sub that has a cost of $100 actual, it might be calculating higher because of Quoting Labor/Burden Rates.

Also, you can print out the detail for the calculation and that might help you narrow down where there are variances to what you expect.
