Is the lead time under the Planning tab in Part Entry only for calculating Po suggestion purchase by date? Or is it used in scheduling a job at all?

If you are referring to the Lead Time field in the Purchasing section, it isn’t only used for PO suggestions, but it is not used in job scheduling.
It is, however, used as a factor in the Min/Max/Safety Mass Update process, even for non-purchased parts.
