Material suggestion for part purchased to a job

Vantage support did not give us a "suggested enhancement" number. Yes, the
parts show up on the job pick list and their material status is shown in
both job entry and tracker.

Did you get a "suggested enhancement" number from Vantage support so that
those of us who want those materials to show up in purchasing suggestions
can add our name to the list?

Also, do those non-part master parts show up in the job pick list? How
about the material status in job entry or job tracker?

Subject: [Vantage] Material suggestion for part purchased to a job

Previously, when a material was added to a job, and the part was not set up
in part master, the material would show up in purchasing suggestions to be
purchased to the job. Last week, I installed patch 4.00.902, now parts not
in part master do not show up in purchasing suggestions. Our purchasing
people, therefore, do not know to purchase the item unless specifically told
to do so, because Vantage does not let them know. Vantage, basically has
told us that the problem MAY be corrected, by the next patch, but no
guarantees. We really rely on this to make sure we get the parts purchased.
Does anyone else rely on this feature and, if so, do you have a work around?

This is an essential part for our tooling Jobs.
Haven't found a work around as yet, so PLEASE correct it!
