Max On-hand/Min On-hand Due Date

Hi there!

I am a new member to this forum and hoping to learn a lot!

Currently, I am trying to use the Max On-hand/Min On-hand function within Epicor 10 to help maintain our inventory levels. I understand the max/min function is potentially part of something bigger (MPS) however right now I am trying to release parts using it and I can’t find any way to change the expected date. When I set my inventory levels, my purchasing group will always see the due date as the day they were released. How do I change that if possible? Or is the solution to what I’m looking for a part of a bigger function of Epicor?

@innovative_raf Welcome. When the job is scheduled it will establish the material required date relative to the related operation of that material.

Is the job being scheduled and is the related operation set? If not it should (I believe) use the first operation.

The job is not scheduled, I’m actually not using a job to release the parts.

I set the max/min levels and wait for MRP to run, but the related operation is set. Is there a date function I should be adjusting when setting up the related operation?
