Menu Search - Any way to show duplicate / all items?

In 2024.1, it appears that Menu Search hides duplicate entries. That is, instead of showing the 3000 instances of Job Tracker, it just shows one. That is kinda nice for users.

However, when pushing out an application studio layer, I need to update all menu instances with the layer. My Epicor just shows one menu entry, while another also shows a single menu entry, but actually is a different Menu ID.

In classic, all menu instances showed up in search and in menu maintenance a given menu item listed all instances in the “menu options” box.

Is there a way to turn on “show duplicate” menu items? Or?

I just learned this the other day… but in Kinetic Menu Maintenance, note the bottom option “ALL” is for a “Menu Search”.

I always over-looked that option…

Do the search and put “Job Tracker” in the menu description:

You can select all and pull them into the maintenance area:

You still have to click through, one at a time, and apply your layer… but this is a nice way to filter your menus when doing tasks like you mentioned above.

Thanks to @NateS and @jwphillips for pointing that out to me last week!

Slap … and I KNEW that “All” area was there, yet I keep forgetting about it. Maybe this is the reminder I needed.

Excellent solution. Thank you.
