Question on MES End Activity. So we have our jobs where it back-flush all the materials and the last operation is quantity only. My question is when the employee ends activity the finish good records an entry in the material queue. Which works as expected

what i am finding out is when an employee reports quantity on a job, there is row in material request queue for warehouse to move the product. i thought that when someone reported quantity it would show in the material queue for warehouse to move but thats not happening. We even tried to report qty and then end activity and still not showing up.

Hi Jose,

I believe there is an automove flag on the resource/resource group that controls if a move request is generated:

“To toggle on and off the AutoMove flag for a Resource. When false, the default is to generate a move request. When true the default is to not generate a move request. These defaults can be seen when entering a quantity and ending an activity in labor entry.”

Thanks Matt. I checked that but both resource group/resource shows as False. The request move happens when i end activity but not when i report qty for a job. The qty shows in job tracker but whse doesnt see it.
