Hi,
After entering the Emp ID in MES and press tab. The “Select Shift” window pops up and we have to click ok to clock in. I would like to automate both “Press tab” and clicking OK in the “Select Shift” pop up window . How to automate this? kindly suggest.

I think to automate this you would want to go to Employee Maintenance, and enter a shift for each employee. Beyond that you can also set the default shift in Company Configuration > Modules > Production > Data Collection.

If none of this works, you could look into automating keystrokes with AutoHotKey or a similar macro program.

In MES - How hide the shift pop up screen

You could do it with a customization on the shift select form. One way would be to perform a button click (with code) on the OK button once the form initializes, that way the employee will get clocked into their default shift.

Hi Joel, Hope you are doing well, it’s been a little while. I would recommend the load event from the form events wizard in the customization mode. It is possible the form hasn’t loaded fully when you are trying to make this click action. [image] Doing this on part form, without the message box, works for me with the Epicor event.
