Method Tracker Blank Title 58163

Thanks so much for this customization! It is exactly the information that I
was looking for. How did you know that BomTrackerArgs was the bsa function
to use and how did you know what its arguments needed to be? I'm asking
because I have another form that I need to open that works similarly to the
method tracker. It is the Customer Contact Entry form. The app that it
opens is App.CustomerEntry.ContactEntryForm. Any ideas? Thanks again,

I am uploading a customization to the UD40 form that has a single
button.

Click the button to invoke a Part Rev Search - select a row and click
ok and it fires off the method tracker

Change the 'true' to 'false' in the bsa = New....... line and you can
open multiple trackers..

All,
Has anyone been able to set up method tracker as its own tracker rather than have to go through part tracker-revisions etc?
I believe I posted a customization to a UD entry screen that allows you to select a part/rev and then invokes method tracker - look in the files section of this group....

Vantage support tells me that this is not possible.

I found this file
App.UD40Entry.UD40Form_Customization_Method_Tracker_CustomExport.xml but
I don't know how to employ it. Can someone enlighten me with a brief
explanation?

Thanks in advance,

In Menu Maintenance, create new menu item for 'Method Tracker' Program Type = Menu Item - Icon = Tracker - Program = Epicor.Mfg.UI.UD$)Entry.dll

Save and exit out of menu maint. Click Change User ID from the options menu on main menu. Log back in and enable developer mode. open your newly created menu item and import the xml file you downloaded. Click on Tools - Customization and save as whatever name you want.

Exit out and turn off developer mode. Open Menu Maintenance again and select your Method Tracker menu item on the customization dropdown, select the customization name you just saved and click save.

Sounds like that will work. I'll give it a try Thanks!

Yes it is possible to access it fairly directly. I found the method on here ages back, and we rolled it out to a few users. As far as I'm aware none of us ever use method tracker directly though! In the Files area of this forum, go to Files > Vantage 8.X Customizations > Customization_Method_Tracker.zip
